It all seems very abstract, doesn't it! So let's look at an example:

Imagine you are in a supermarket and then you notice a tag containing a QR code attached to a watermelon, you pick up your cell phone and scan that QR code.

At this moment a web page will be loaded in your browser containing in detail the name of the product, its qualifications followed by a table containing the traceability of the product.

By browsing traceability you can locate the producer of that batch of watermelon, their profile data, harvest date and which types of agrochemicals were used in the watermelon cultivation.

You will also find the route of the watermelon batch, where and for how long it was stored and which companies are involved in the distribution process.

You will also be able to see the list of comments from end customers who have purchased watermelons from that respective batch and their ratings on the quality of the product.
